The Wiegand configuration UI in BioStar 1 and 2 are different and may cause some confusion.
If you would like to configure your Wiegand format in BioStar 1 the same as BioStar 2 refer to the sample below to understand the difference.
Below is a sample configuration of 26 bit Standard format.
Total Bits
The total bit configuration is exactly the same and straightforward. This is a 26 bit format so 26 will be input.

[BioStar 2]
Facility Code
The facility code field in BioStar 1 is the undefined blocks.
[BioStar 1]
Hence 1-8 bit position are the facility code blocks.
In BioStar 2, you do not have a visual representation. You would configure the start bit at 1 and end bit at 8 accordingly.
[BioStar 2]
ID Field
The ID Field in BioStar 1 are the blocks configured as I.
In BioStar 2 you would configure the start and end bit accordingly.
[BioStar 1]
[BioStar 2]
Parity Bits
The parity bit positions are represented by E (even) and O (odd) in BioStar 1.
[BioStar 1]
The positions are configured accordingly in BioStar 2 as below
Even Parity
Even parity is the first parity page in BioStar 1. When you calculate for BioStar 2, ignore the even parity bit position (0).
[BioStar 1]
[BioStar 2]
Odd Parity
Odd parity is the 2nd page of the parity configuration in BioStar 1. Ignore the odd parity bit position (25) here as well when configuring in BioStar 2.
