At minimum you will need 500GB of dedicated space for BioStar 2.

The largest BioStar 2 files are probably your system logs.

We do not recommend that you delete system logs in case a problem occurs.

If you are currently having issues with BioStar 2, you must not delete them so we may evaluate the logs.

We would also recommend backing up your database as shown below: [BioStar 2] Database Backup and Restore Instructions

If you still decide to delete the system logs, stop the BioStar service before proceeding.

You can delete the following:

1. BioStar AC system logs: C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64)\logs

2. BioStar TA system logs: C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64)\ta\logs

3. Nginx logs: C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64)\nginx\logs

4. Mysql-bin.xxxx : C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64)\ta\mariadb-10.1.10-winx64\data
Note: The purpose of this file is database replication and recovery. If you had no issues, you can delete it.

Note: In BioStar 2.4.1 and above, the system logs of BioStar 2 TA is deleted if it is older than 60 days.

BioStar 2.6 will have a feature to delete the AC system logs automatically. You will be able to configure the duration of the logs that will be stored.
