Problem

There is “No Available Channel” & “Fail to read parameters from device[ID:xxxx]” error during adding a device.

After the error message, the device can't add to BioStar Client.

Cause & Solution

It is depends on type of device.

<BioEntry Plus, BLN, Xpass and Xpass Slim>

(1) The number of concurrent connection

Maximum BioStar Client number of available connection is only one at the same time.

If you use the above devices, the “No available channel” error message will occur.

So, you should have used one Biostar Client when you need to access to the device.

(2) Server mode Issue

Please check if the "Use" of server option is activated. It means that the device will be connected to server automatically.

You don't need to add the device as manual method.

You can check the option when you search the device and click that as follows.

* Disable the option of Server and click [Modify] if you would like to add the device as direct mode.

<BioStation, BioStation T2, X-Station,D-Station and FaceStation>

(1) The number of concurrent connection

You can change maximum connection number in BioStar client menu.

In this case, you can use more than 1 biostar client at the same time when you need to access to the device.
