Below example uses the BioStation3 after CLUe has been setup with Suprema Agent.

Please make sure that your company's network has already allowed connection to CLUe.

Connect using Wifi

  1.  Make sure the device is connected to power supply (POE or DC).
  2. From the Home screen, open Device menu > go to Settings > Network.
     
  3. Select "Wireless" in the Network Device.  Click right arrow to enter setup mode.
  4. Select the Wifi network and enter the password.
  5. Exit from the device menu.

  6. At this point, you will see the wifi icon at the top of the device's screen.



Connect using Ethernet

  1. Make sure the device is connected to power supply (POE or DC).
  2. From the Home screen, open Device menu > go to Settings > Network.

  3. Select "Ethernet" in the Network Device.  Click right arrow to enter setup mode.
  4. Enable DHCP or set fixed IP address, Default Gateway, Subnet Mask and DNS.
  5. Exit from the device menu.

  6. At this point, you will see the wifi icon at the top of the device's screen.



How to check if device is connected to CLUe sever

At the top of the device screen, a cloud icon is displayed beside wifi network.


Icons and Meaning

IconDescription
Indicates that the device is not connected to the network. Please check LAN connection.
Indicates that the device is connected to the network via Ethernet.
Indicates that the device is connected to the network via Wifi.
Indicates that the device is not connected to CLUe server. Please recheck network policy.
Indicates that the device is trying to connect to the CLUe server.
Indicates that the device is successfully connected to the CLUE server.
