Problem
Can't run BioStar server with an error.
Relevant status
The below error occurs.
[Cannot connect to the BioStar Server service. Please check if it is properly installed.]
Cause
The BioStar server is not registered to Windows Service List.
Solution
Register the bsserver.exe which is BioStar Server into Windows Service.
1. Run command prompt with administrative privileges
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\BioStar\server
3. type the command below and press enter:Bsserver.exe -i
3-1. If there is an error during processing step 3, please refer the below description.
Error message : The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-heap-l1-1-0.dll
The error [The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-heap-l1-1-0.dll] is from Windows OS.
Please install Visual 2015 C++ redistribution and update Windows.
4. Check that the service is created.
