From BioStar v2.7.7, BioStar2 supports Visitor Management.  (Link : BioStar v2.7.7 new Features)

(Required License - Visitor License of BioStar2)


Self-Registration Page provides to register Visitor information for a first visit and a return visit.



<How To Use - First Visit>

Click on the short-cut on the Desktop or, enter the URL on Chrome.

0. Click [First Visit]


1. Read Terms and Policy. If you agree to all terms and conditions, click [Next].

(Example Terms&Conditions)


2. Fill in Visitor, Host and Entry Information and then, click [Next].

-  Mandatory field

: Visitor Name, Telephone, Host Name, Telephone, Zone, Period


Notice

* Zone of Access Group in Entry Information does NOT mean the visitor can access the door. It means that the visitor wants to visit a location. You can select up to 16 Access Groups.



3. Register the Visitor's credentials and click [Next]. 

Or, you can register Fingerprint or Card once you visit the reception desk. If you do not want to register a fingerprint or a card, click [Next].



- Fingerprint (Up to 10 Fingers)

Notice If BioMini/BioMini Plus2 is connected to the PC, the fingerprint sensor of the device will turn on once you click [+Fingerprint].  (USB Device Agent should be running in advance. You can download it from Settings>USB Agent)




> The sensor of the connected device of the registration PC will turn on once you click [+Fingerprint]



- Card

A Visitor can request to register a card.


4. Review all information and click [Next] to complete the progress.



5. Once you click [OK] on the above popup, the registration page will come again as follows.


<How To Register of Visitor Information - Return Visit>


1. Name and Phone Number

- Enter full name and the phone number of Visitor. 

- The partial search of user name is not supported.

2. Fingerprint


3. The registered visitor information will be filled in the form once you click [Yes].


4. Confirm each field and update Host Information, the Entry information and the period to make the approval.

Notice

* Zone of Access Group in Entry Information does NOT mean the visitor can access the door. It means that the visitor wants to visit a location. You can select up to 16 Access Groups.


5. Register the Visitor's credentials and click [Next]. 

Or, you can register Fingerprint or Card once you visit the reception desk. If you do not want to register a fingerprint or a card, click [Next].

> If BioMini/BioMini Plus2 is connected to the PC, the fingerprint sensor of the device will turn on once you click [+Fingerprint].  (USB Device Agent should be running in advance. You can download it from Settings>USB Agent)

- Card

6. Review all information and click [Next] to complete the progress.



7. Once you click [OK] on the above popup, the registration page will come again as follows.
