BioStar 2 Server refers system.conf file and setting.conf file to start the related services of BioStar 2 Server.
When a PC of BioStar 2 Server is restarted abnormally or the PC is abnormal rebooted, system.conf file could be corrupted.
Once the file is corrupted, the login page of BioStar 2 won't show up.

To restore the corrupted system.conf file, please follow the below steps.
This article is only for the Maria DB and the default host and the default database user of maria DB connection.
If you are using MSSQL DB or other connection information, please create a new ticket.

Step 1: Run BioStar Setting and stop all BioStar 2 Services
Note:
Please run it as administrator.
Step 2 : Go to C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64)
Step 3 : Just in case, make a backup file of system.conf
Step 4 : Download the attached system.conf file to replace the general system.conf file
Step 5 : Copy the downloaded system.conf file to C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64)
Step 6 : Run BioStar Setting and update your environment information properly
Step 6-1: Click [Save] and then, [Test Connection] to check the information is valid.
Note :
Host : Keep 127.0.0.1 if Maria DB is located on a same PC, or update the IP address of Maria DB server PC
Port: Keep 3312, that is a default port of Maria DB. Or, update the correct port number of Maria DB port if you have ever changed the port before.

Step 7 : Start all services of BioStar 2 setting
The corrupted system.conf file issue has been improved to v2.8.4.
