Suprema's Visual Face devices cannot be added as RS-485 Slave devices alongside Fingerprint, Face (e.g., FaceStation 2 or FaceLite), or Card devices. Additionally, there may be restrictions on [RS-485 Master - Slave] connections between Visual Face devices depending on the configuration.

- Any of Fingerprint device (Master) - FaceStation F2 / BioStation 3 / BioEntry W3 (Slave)
- Any of Card device (Master) - FaceStation F2 / BioStation 3 / BioEntry W3 (Slave)
- Any of 1st generation device* (Master) - FaceStation F2 / BioStation 3 / BioEntry W3 (Slave)
- FaceStation 2 or FaceLite (Master) - FaceStation F2 / BioStation 3 / BioEntry W3 (Slave)
- FaceStation F2 (Master) - BioStation 3 (Slave)
- FaceStaiton F2 (Master) - BioEntry W3 (Slave)
- BioStation 3 (Master) - FaceStation F2 (Slave)
