Feature Overview
Airfob Portal allows administrators to store and manage user information, including employees, visitors, and members. Adding users is a separate step from issuing mobile access cards. Administrators can register users to maintain an organized directory and issue access credentials when necessary.
Navigating to User Management
To add users, log in to the Airfob Portal as an administrator. The user management feature is accessible via the Users section.
Adding Users Manually
Step 1: Add a User
- Click the Add User button.
- To edit an existing user, select the user from the list.
Step 2: Enter User Information
- Enter user details. Only the User ID is required.
- The system generates a sequential User ID if not manually entered.
Step 3: Add a User Image (Optional)
- Upload an image to represent the user.
- Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG (Max size: 3MB).
Importing Users via CSV
Administrators can import multiple users simultaneously by uploading a CSV file.
Step 1: Prepare the CSV File
- The file must be in UTF-8 format to avoid errors.
- Maximum file size: 5MB.
Step 2: Upload the CSV
- If you have a CSV file, drag and drop it or select it from your file explorer.
- If you do not have a CSV file, download the default template.
Step 3: Configure Import Settings
- Overwrite Data: Choose to overwrite or retain existing user information.
- Card ID Type: Select between Decimal or Hexadecimal format.
- Start & End Dates: Define the validity period for issued access cards.
Step 4: Map Data Fields
- Ensure CSV column headers are correctly assigned to Airfob Portal fields.
- Map the Card ID field to issue access cards.
Step 5: Execute Import
- Click Import to begin the process.
- The import may take time depending on the number of users.
Step 6: Review Import Results
- Check the number of successful and failed imports.
- Download results to view details.
Uploading User Images in Bulk
Administrators can upload multiple images simultaneously for user profiles and access cards.
Step 1: Rename Image Files
- Save each image with the corresponding User ID (e.g., 156.jpg).
Step 2: Upload Images
- Drag and drop images or select them from file explorer.
- Maximum file size per image: 2MB (Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG).
Step 3: Execute Upload
- Click Upload and wait for the process to complete.
- Do not close the browser window during upload.
Step 4: Review Upload Results
- Check the number of successfully uploaded images.
- If any failures occur, verify the following:
- File size does not exceed 2MB.
- File format is JPG, JPEG, or PNG.
- File name matches a valid User ID.
- The image is different from the existing profile image.
Issuing Multiple Access Cards
After importing users and images, administrators can issue multiple mobile access cards.
- Ensure that Card IDs are included in the CSV.
- Navigate to the Issue Multiple Cards section.
