Feature Overview
Airfob Portal provides a default user template with essential information required to issue a mobile access card. Site administrators can customize the template by adding additional fields, while core required fields remain unmodifiable. This customization allows for better user information management.
Default User Template Overview
- User Info: These are the fields that must be entered when adding a user.
- Required: Toggle the setting to mark a field as mandatory. The User ID is always required and cannot be modified.
- Actions: Fields can be renamed or deleted, except for core required fields.
Note: The following fields are mandatory and cannot be removed: ID, Name, Title, Department, and Email.
Adding a Custom Field
If additional user information is required, administrators can create a custom field by following these steps:
- Click the Add Field button.
- Enter the desired field name in the input window.
- Toggle the required setting if the field should be mandatory.
- Click OK to save the new field.
Example: Adding an Employee Hire Date
- Click the Add Field button.
- Enter "Hire Date" in the input field and toggle the setting if required.
- Click OK to save.
- To display the new field on the user’s mobile card, navigate to the Card Template menu and update the card design.
If you want the newly added fields to appear on the mobile card, you can update the design in the Card Template menu.
