    BioStation 3 Max integrates a VoIP intercom function natively into the terminal, enabling two-way communication between visitors and reception staff without the need for a separate intercom device.     BioStation 3 Max supports Template on Mobile, a privacy-preserving authentication method where the user's biometric template is stored on their personal mobile device rather than on the terminal or server. Q1. What is the difference between the DB, APB, ODB, and OAPB models?

A1. The four models differ in two key aspects: fingerprint support and PoE+ capability. The APB and OAPB models include a fingerprint sensor, support PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), and also support iCLASS SE/SR/Seos and HID Prox cards in addition to the standard RF options. Please refer to the Supported Model List for details.

Q2. Does BioStation 3 Max support PoE+?

A2. PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) is supported on the BS3M-APB and BS3M-OAPB models. It is not available on the BS3M-DB and BS3M-ODB models.

Q3. Does BioStation 3 Max support HID Prox or iClass cards?

A3. iCLASS SE/SR/Seos and HID Prox cards are supported on the BS3M-APB and BS3M-OAPB models. They are not supported on the BS3M-DB and BS3M-ODB models.

A4. BioStation 3 Max includes a built-in VoIP intercom function that enables real-time communication between the terminal and reception. However, it is designed to operate as an integrated access control terminal with intercom capability, not as a standalone intercom device.
