In BioStar 1's event logs you may see some Event messages saying Server Socket Disconnected or Server Socket Connected. 

This basically means that the device has lost connection with the server and then it connected to the server again. 

This may caused by network instability or because of the server PC. 



This however, does not mean that your logs are lost during this time. 

Logs are stored in the device and uploaded based on log index. 

This means that the device keeps count of up to which log was sent to the server and when the connection is made with the server again, it uploads the logs based on that last record.


Note that log upload is not automatic in direct connection mode. 

You have to use server mode to upload the logs automatically.
