From BioStar v2.7.5, BioStar2 supports Active Directory and it can synchronize the information from Active Directory to BioStar2 User information.  (Advanced License is required)


Before you use the function, please refer the below step and see if the connection information and the user credential are correct.


1. Confirm the connection information as follows


1-1. Download Active directory explorer

1-2. Run AD explorer

1-3. Enter the connection information and click on [OK]


Connect to : Enter an IP address of Active Directory

User: Enter the user account

Password: Enter the password of the user



1-4. Confirm Base DN


For example, the base DN is same as CN=Users, and DC =test,DC=com 


: CN=Users,DC=test,DC=com 




2. Confirm if all information which you have is correct


2-1. Download LDAP Admin

2-2.  Set the connection properties with Host (Active Directory Ino), Base Info, and Account information

Host: Enter an IP address of Active Directory

Base: Enter the CN, DC, DC,

Username: Enter the user account

Password: Enter the password of the user


2-3. Click [OK] and confirm if you can see the active directory information
