[BioStar 2] Difference Between Secure Credential and Access On Card (Smart Card)

The concept of Access on Card in BioStar 2 is same as the Template on Card In BioStar 1.

The difference between Access on Card and Secure Credential card is that the Access on Card includes the Access Group information and the Secure Credential card does not contain the access group information and also allows you to change the secure ID.

The benefit of using a Secure Credential card compared to an Access on Card would be

1. You don't have to re-issue the card every time the Access Group information changes.

2. You can configure the secure ID

However the Access Group information and user information will have to be stored on the device.
