Affected Products & Versions: all BioEntry Plus 1.x firmware
Summary
Without changing the device configuration (not in lock status) the BioEntry Plus device may randomly fall into a state where the LED blinks red. This happens because of a erroneous logic within the firmware.
Note: This occurrence is rare, and does not happen in regular intervals or in all devices.
Issue Reproduction:
1. After some use, the device LED blinks red like the image below.
2. Device can still be communicated via BioStar 1.
Workaround
Use the Solution
Solution:
Apply the fix firmware to resolve the issue. Applying the firmware beforehand will prevent the issue.

If the device cannot be searched in BioStar 1, the device will have to be proceeded through the RMA process for a repair.
