From BioStar v2.7.7, BioStar2 supports Visitor Management.  (Link : BioStar v2.7.7 new Features)

(Required License - Visitor License of BioStar2)



Administrator of Biostar2 can make Visitor Operator Level of Login account in BioStar2.

Depends on the company policy, Administrator, Operator, or Custom Level of Visitor Menu can access Visitor menu.

- Administrator Level can delete the expired Data in VISTOR menu.

- Visitor Operator Level can manage Visitor Information, Check-In, and Check-Out.

- Visitor Operator Level can NOT delete the expired Data in VISITOR menu.

<How To Visitor Registration and Approving A Permission>


- For New Visitor without self-registration


0. Login BioStar2 SW as Administrator or Visitor Operator.


1. Click [Add Visitor]

2. Enter Visitor Name and Telephone

2. Enter Host Name and Telephone

- Partial search will be available to use once you enter one of the characters.


Once you click [Choose], the information of Host will be updated.



3. Select an Access Group and Period.



4. Enable a Card request or Add Fingerprint, and then, please click [Register].



5. Click the registered Visitor Name.

<How to Handle Check-In>


1. Confirm the visitor information and assign the entry information to allow to access a door


2. If you would like to modify the information, update the information and then click [Edit].


3. Click [Check in] to proceed the status of the visitor as [check-in]


4. Confirm the disabled [Approve] button and click [View terms] of Privacy Policy.


5. Request to review all terms and conditions before selecting all check box.


6. Click [Next] once the visitor reviews all.




7. Review all information under Privace Policy from the registration information and click [Approve].


For the card registration, you should configure Card Devices to Setting first.

Please note that you should configure Card Device under Settings>Visitor>Visit PC Setting in advance.

Once the visitor agrees with the privacy policy, the [Approve and register card] will be activated.



8. Confirm if the status of the visitor is "Checked IN" in Visitor list.


- For New Visitor who registers own information through self-registration

1. Go to VISITOR in Menu List and Click the visitor information in Visitor list.


- Click [Search Visitor] if the visitor registers the fingerprint in advance.

- Confirm the visitor information and assign the entry information to allow to access a door.



2. Review all information and then, click [Check-IN] > [Approve].


3. Review all information and then, click [Check-IN] > [Approve].



4. The visitor status is CHECK-IN.




<How to Visit The Approved Office>


1. Once the visitor is set [Check-In], the visitor can visit the approved office with the registered user credential.

- A visitor can access a door with the registered credential in accordance with the access group and the period.








<How To Handle [CHECK-OUT]>


There are two ways to set Check-Out of Visitor.



(Method 1)

1. Select the checkbox of the visitor.

2. Click [Check Out]


3. Confirm if the status is CHECK OUT.

 

4. The visitor can NOT access to the door after that.


(Method 2)

1. Find the visitor name in Check In List 

2. Click [Check Out]


3. Confirm if the status is CHECK OUT.

 

4. The visitor can NOT access to the door after that.
