Summary
BioStar 2 server is using too much CPU resources in the task manager

Cause

The event log module reflected in BioStar 2.7.7 is maintained without idle time, which affects performance.

Solution

Download the corresponding version of patch at the link and follow the steps below.

Steps

1. Turn off all BioStar 2 services

2. Change the existing biostar-server.exe file under the BioStar 2 installed folder(eq. C:\Program Files\BioStar 2(x64))

3. Copy attached biostar-server.exe under the BioStar 2 installed folder

4. Start all BioStar 2 services

This patch will be applied in BioStar 2.7.11 official.
