This document is out of date since we released BioStar v2.8.6 and FaceStation 2 v1.4 FW.

BioStar v2.8.2.90X [Thermal Camera Beta] has been uploaded to Suprema website to configure Suprema Thermal Camera of FaceStation 2.
Please note that that is a beta version of BioStar 2 SW.

If you are using BioStar v2.8.2 which we released on 13 July 2020, you cannot upgrade it to the beta BioStar v2.8.2.90X because the major version information 2.8.2 is same with 2.8.2.90X. BioStar 2 SW doesn't allow to upgrade the same version.

As alternative way, please refer the below steps.

*Regular FW of FaceStation 2 and regular BioStar 2 SW will be released by 3Q 2020.

Please note that you cannot upgrade v2.8.2.90x to v2.8.3, v2.8.4, or v2.8.5 version of BioStar 2 until we release that feature to BioStar v2.8.6.

Once you upgrade to v2.8.3, v2.8.4, or v2.8.5 version, the feature will be not available to use anymore.

Currently, the feature is only into v2.8.2.90x.
