Why Door Interface (DI-24)?

    The Suprema Door Interface (DI-24) module offers a scalable and secure access control solution, supporting up to four readers and two doors. Offline failover operation capability ensures uninterrupted access control even in the event of network failure. What is New About Door Interface?

1. RFID Door Interface Module

  • Compatible device list: X-Station 2 (non-fingerprint model only), XPass 2, XPass D2


2. Connect maximum 4 RFID readers via RS-485 at RS-485 Port 0 and RS-485 Port 1

  • You can connect a maximum of 2 RS-485 Slave devices (RFID readers) per RS-485 port. (There can be a total of 4 RS-485 Slave devices per 1 DI-24 device.)
  • However, you CANNOT use the "RS-485 port" without the port number on the top for the RS-485 Slave RFID reader connection.
  • NOTE that you CANNOT connect RS-485 Slave devices and Wiegand readers at the same time.


3. OSDP V2.2 Support

  • DI-24 can use secure communication with advanced encryption.


4. Offline Access Control

  • Even though the connection between the DI-24 and its RS-485 Master device, such as CS-20 or CS-20P, DI-24 can open the doors by itself.
    • DI-24 stores a maximum of 16 facility codes for continuous operation.
  • NOTE that this feature can operate with the cards that contain facility codes. If your cards do not contain facility codes, such as MIFARE CSN, this feature will not work.


5. Intelligent Input Mapping

  • The AUX Input on the top of DI-24 is pre-configured for Tamper, AC power fail, and fire inputs from the Fire Alarm Panel.


6. Support Power Out from DI-24

  • You can power out to 2 readers and 2 door locks.
  • Recommended to use EM locks or Strike locks.
