In case of BioStar2, it supports [Use Automatic Door] option unlike BioStar1 SW.
Refer the below description and use the option if you would like to use [Door Status Sensor] on BioStar2 SW.
Common configuration
- Let's say, there are BioStar 1 SW and Biostar 2 SW. We set [Door Relay], [Exit Button], and [Door Status Sensor].
1) Concept of BioStar 1
1-1) Default : The door relay will operate per the door period regardless the status of door sensor.
1-2) Closed By [Open Period+Status] : The door relay will be operated if there is [Door Close] log from the device even though the relay isn't kept till the Door Open Period time.
2) Concept of BioStar 2
2-1) Default: The door relay will be kept as [ON] if there is [Door Open] log from the door status sensor even though the door open period is finished.
2-2) [Lock when door is closed] option: The door relay will turn off if there is [Door Close] log from the door sensor even though there is remaining time of the door open period.
2-3) [Use Automatic Door] option: The door relay will operate like BioStar1 concept. The door relay will operate per the door period regardless the status of door sensor.
