Fix Version of BioStar 2: v2.9.7 or higher version
Affected BioStar 2 version: v2.9.6 or lower version
Affected Chrome version: v127, v128, and v129
If you're using Chrome version v127, v128, and v129 with BioStar v2.9.6 or lower version, you may not be able to select an option in the list box, such as the Time Zone setting or Language setting, in BioStar 2.
However, if using Chrome version v130 even though in BioStar 2 v2.9.6 or lowever version, this issue has been solved.
And, this issue has been resolved if upgrading BioStar 2 to version 2.9.7 or a higher version, regardless of Chrome version. So, please upgrade BioStar 2 to v2.9.7. If you use Bio follow the alternative solution below.

1. Issue Description:
For users who use Chrome version from v127 to v130, enabling the "Enables keyboard focusable scrollers" option may result in scrollable lists, such as the Time Zone setting in BioStar 2, becoming unclickable.
A. Conditions That Cause Problem
The issue occurs when the "Enables Keyboard Focusable Scrollers" option is Enabled in Chrome.
B. Example of Where the issue Occurs
The issue may occur in the list box, such as the Time Zone setting, Language setting, etc., in BioStar 2. To check the details, please refer to the 2 examples below.

For some users who use Chrome version from v127 to v130, the "Enables keyboard focusable scrollers" option may automatically change from "Default" to "Enabled" in Chrome.
2. Workaround
The issue can be resolved by disabling the "Enables keyboard focusable scrollers" option in Chrome. Follow the steps below to apply this solution:
Step 1.
Open the Chrome browser.
Step 2.
In the address bar, type chrome://flags/#touch-events and press Enter.
Step3.
Locate the "Enables keyboard focusable scrollers" option and set it to Disabled.

Suprema has addressed this issue in BioStar 2 v2.9.7 with the following solution:
- Even if the "Enables keyboard focusable scrollers" option is Enabled in Chrome, users will be able to select options normally after scrolling through the list box in the affected menus of BioStar 2.
