1. What is a USB Extension Port?
- You need to purchase an extended module and bracket. Also, firmware customization is required, so please contact the Suprema Sales team for further discussion (Contact Suprema Sales Link).
2. Can we use FaceStation F2, BioStation 3, and BioEntry W3 on the same BioStar 2 system?
- You can use FaceStation F2, BioStation 3, and BioEntry W3 on the same BioStar 2 system. For more information, please refer to the following two articles.

3. Can we enroll Visual Face directly on the BioEntry W3 itself?
- Unfortunately, you need to activate the device using BioStar 2 to enroll in Visual Face or use mobile enrollment, CSV import, or another method. BioEntry W3 does not support device user enrollment as it does not have an LCD screen.
4. What is a USB Port for?
- BioEntry W3's USB port is for firmware upgrading. Please refer to the article below if you would like to know about this feature further.

5. Can we use BioEntry W3 as RS-485 Slave device of FaceStation F2 or BioStaton 3?
- You can use BioEntry W3 as an RS-485 Slave device if the RS-485 Master device is BioStation 3 but cannot if the RS-485 Master device is FaceStation F2.
